Here’s the 2019 Venice Biennale Artist List

The list is out.

After months of anticipation, the Venice Biennale has released the names of the artists who will participate in its central show this year, “May You Live in Interesting Times,” which is being organized by Ralph Rugoff. The roster features 79 entries, plus a handful of collaborators, and ranges from vets like Rosemarie Trockel, Julie Mehretu, Christian Marclay, and George Condo, to well-known emerging talents like Jon Rafman, Neïl Beloufa, Avery Singer, and Ed Atkins. More than one-third were born in the 1980s or later. The exhibition runs in the Most Serene Republic from May 11 through November 24, and the full list follows below.
